your content doesn't suck, your positioning does
Harsh truth: Most people don’t have content problems. They have positioning problems.
Everyday, I see people executing the Linkedin playbook perfectly. Doing “everything they’ve been told” to grow on their personal brand.
But, there is one element that may be missing and that is positioning yourself as someone worth listening to.
May 2022 I was in the exact same boat. Posting daily, engaging for hours but getting low engagement and 0 clients.
The inbound leads I was getting…. Nightmare.
“Could you give me a discount” “Can I see 10 successful case studies” “Your price is too high, can go to another agency”
But looking back, my content wasn’t reflecting the price tag and the client I was aiming for. My content screamed beginner with no idea.
So I spend an entire year working on my positioning. On writing better hooks, on delivering A-Class value and on re-positioning myself as an expert.
Not just someone posting on Linkedin.
This is me today: Best in class, daily leads, and having a great time.
What did I do though? I rebranded myself. Entirely.
I started showing up as someone worth listening to.
In this game of social media, whoever has the best cards wins - and sometimes we can give ourselves “ace” cards to win.
And a conversation with one of my good friends Sam Winsbury reminded me of that last year when he told me the hook I opened this email with.

It led me to rethink my entire brand and a contributing factor to where I am today as an entrepreneur, agency owner and D List micro-influencer.
