How I'd Build Your LinkedIn Strategy for 2026

FULL CONTENT PLAYBOOK FOR YOU HERE

I have this rule about 4x posts per week on LinkedIn.

Not 1. Not 2. Not 10. Four.

The reason? It gives you enough volume to test and iterate, but it doesn’t burn you out and lead you to “post just to post”.

So here’s what we’re going to do, we’re going to follow my 4-3-2-1 Framework.

And after you read this, you should be able to go ahead and plan your first week of content before the year ends.

The 4-3-2-1

We already covered part 1, which is 4 posts a week.

Ideally, every single post you ever write follows the fundamentals of writing on LinkedIn.

  1. An 8 word hook

  2. A variety of line lenghts

  3. A listicle if possible

  4. Specific numbers in the hook

The “3” in the 4-3-2-1: 3 Content Themes

Your content isn’t about “educating” or “entertaining” - it’s actually about that and MORE.

In order for you to reach as many people as possible at a low frequency and high follower conversion or actual conversion you need to add a new spin to content.

Total Addressable Market Content is:
- Broad, emotional, highly relatable
- Optimised for sharing, saving, and discovery
- Builds familiarity and trust at scale

Example: “If you’re posting consistently and nothing’s happening, read this.”

Template: “If you’re [doing thing] and [not seeing ideal result], read this”

Expert-Led Content is:
- Frameworks, systems, and mental models
- Shows pattern recognition and judgment
- Signals “I’ve done this before”

Example: “I’ve analysed 1,000+ LinkedIn posts. This is what makes post go viral”

Template: “I’ve analysed [specific number] [thing your audience is interested in].. This is what makes [result happen]”

Growth Content is:
- Clear intent and outcome
- Tied to a lead magnet, waitlist, product, or offer
- Makes the next step obvious

Example: “I turned this into a repeatable content system.”

Template: “I turned this into a [ideal thing clients want]”

The “2” in the 4-3-2-1: 2 Types of audiences

Most people over index on their Ideal Client Persona and then never really see any success because their content is waayyyyyy too niche.

Like “If you’re a personal trainer in new zealand, here’s why you need me”.

Ok. You just excluded like 99% of the population and people in new zealand might not even see it.

But, if you focus on also creating content to your Ideal Follower Persona….

The person rooting for you from the sidelines.
The person who loves your content.
The person who relates to you…

Maybe when you post about New Zealand it might reach more people.

Content for your ideal follower isn’t necesarily about sales, but more so about what you do and your story.

So for the personal trainer in new zealand it could be like

“I quit my 9-5 to go all in on fitness, and I regret it”

I bolded 4 words here so you can see the psychology..

“Quit” - something most people have done or want to do
“9-5” - everyone is in it, or has been in it
“Regret” - again something most people have felt

^ if you see what I did here, I broadened my content beyond fitness and New Zealand - I made it applicable to most people.

“Fitness,” well we still need to mention what you do!

The “1” in the 4-3-2-1: 1 lead magnet

Look, if you’re reading this, most likely is because of my lead magnets.

So it’s proof it works.

Building an email list is by far the best growth hack for linkedin because people love free stuff and the second conversion is higher because intent is a lot higher.

I can drop a full lead magnet email, but I’ll keep it short here.

That’s literally it my friends, thank you for reading this far.
