How I Scripted my last YouTube video (It got 2.5k views in 24hrs)

Scripting long-form video is the most time-consuming thing for me.

I HAAAAATE IT, but we gotta do it.

So after being a cry baby about it and trying to buy a new light or some new mic that would make it seem like i’m fixing my problem.

I found the real problem.

Then trying different headlines.

Instead of telling you about it, let me show you the process behind the scenes of scripting my last YouTube video.

Using Poppy AI to script YouTube videos (without quitting in the process):

Step 1: Go to poppy and start a new project.

It should look like the below, don’t click on anything yet.

Step 2: Get inspiration for tone of voice, structure or topic.

1. Go to YouTube
2. Add videos that you’d like to emulate
3. Pick 4-6 within your niche or within your ‘standard’
4. Add them to a group by pressing G and adding them to it.

I added 4 of my best performing videos but if I didn’t have any I would’ve added videos from my competitors that have performed well in views/

Step 3: Connect the AI chat to your videos

On the left you’ll see the option to add a “chat”.
Clcik on it and connect it to the videos you just added.

Then insert this prompt to the chat:

“Based on my content give me the hooks, breakdowns and ways I speak so I can write my next youtube video.

Give me some recommendations on what it should be about too”

Step 4: Select a title it gives you for your next video.

If you aren’t 100% on the video - try and give it ideas so it can create some for you or add more YouTube videos so it knows what direction you want!

Then, add this prompt:

“Using option [x] please script it for me using my tonality and add jokes and examples as well.”

Step 5: Use the script it gives you as a 70% draft for your next YouTube video.

If it’s missing context, you can also add your LinkedIn posts, own documents and more videos so it has ALL the info necessary to write an in-depth breakdown.
