- LinkedIn is saturated (the brutal truth)
LinkedIn is saturated (the brutal truth)
A month ago, I had a call with a new client.
Their partner hopped on the call, and asked one question at the end.
“Hey, I used ChatGPT to write a post and it was amazing - I got a lot of engagement and it took me 5 minutes”
The post in question looked like this [diff industry ofc]
I had a webinar attendee asking me why they weren't growing on LinkedIn.
They hadn’t posted in 5 days. And before that? Hadn’t posted in 4.
This is what the “LinkedIn saturation” looks like.
Repetitive AI-generated generic content with stupid emojis and hooks.
Inconsistent members trying to “grow” but not wanting to do the work
Lack of systems and strategies to actually grow their brands
And I welcome it, please - more! It makes me look SO good.
As I’ve said before - the only thing AI can’t replace is your story.
Your unique traits, your humor and your personal stories.
We’re living in a world fuelled by the need of instant gratification.
The consistent hunt for quick wins and hacks.
That people on social media forget they want to build their fucking brand.
Start joining engagement pods, posting about TED talks and generic cliche content, and never speaking about themselves.
Which was the main reason why they were there in the first place…
But I won't lie; the numbers are correct there are 1 billion users on LinkedIn right now.
And more than 5% are posting now. There’s a big wave of people coming from TikTok, Instagram… Facebook.
The competition is getting tougher for some.
But not for those who know what they’re doing and actually building a brand, not just an account.
Personal brand ≠ just posting content that goes viral
Personal brand ≠ just posting content that gets likes
Personal brand ≠ just posting content that pleases everyone
Personal brand is building your own relationships at scale.
Building an engaged community, fans over followers.
This is what we do inside Literally LinkedIn.
I could’ve launched a course, I could’ve launched an app…
But instead I decided to commit to 8 weeks of 3 live intensive calls per week + an engagement community of kick-ass people.
I truly believe these things need to be taught multiple times to be understood.
So you don’t lose hope quickly.
So you don’t give up within the first 4 weeks.
So you post 3x a week and see “no results” and throw in the towel.
Because relationships aren’t quick, they take time.
Branding yourself as an expert takes time.
Learning how also takes time.
There are no quick fixes, but there’s quick action and quick learning.
I would love to see you inside. I poured my heart into it.
Here’s what new members are saying:
Want to be part of the best community on Linkedin?
That’s literally it for today’s ladies and gents.
Off to chug another monster
