pov: i built a $100,000 software in 3 months (here's how)

June 2nd 2013, is a day I’ll never forget.

It was the day my parents had come visit me at school, and I could see it in my dads eyes that he was furious.

Every teacher had told him I was “great” while he heard them talk about my peers as “brilliant” or “smartest” and in his eyes “great” was just a polite way to say “average”.

And since then, many years later, I’ve made it my mission to prove that I’m not average.

That refusal of being average has spilled over everywhere, and lately I’ve seen it in my refusal to take average actions and settle for average outcomes.

When I decided to join the Kleo team to build a new startup, I spoke to my mentor - he actually argued against it for a second.

But then he noticed that this wasn’t about building a new shiny business.

It was about the opportunity to do above-average things.

About the pursuit of never settling for good, but excellent.

And that my friends, we did.

Built a tool in months, made $100,000+ and got over 1,000 users without a landing page - just a scrappy polar link and a strategy.

A strategy so good the biggest podcast in tech picked it up.

I revealed the entire playbook on it, we prepared for over 2 weeks for this episode.

If you have dreams to build something big, I recommend you watch it (click here)
