the secret to a 6 figure launch

Yesterday I sat down to break down my cohort launch for you.

But it got so fluffy I had to stare at myself in the mirror like:

So, instead of giving you an intense fluffy breakdown with a lot of numbers, I’m going to share the one thing that I can 100% say was the main driver for the “success” of my second-ever launch.

The Secret Hack to a 6-Figure Launch

The richest most successful entrepreneurs have been doing this for years.

I’ve known about it since the start but never understood its true potential.

Most people are doing them wrong, but today, I’m going to show you how to do it right.

The secret hack, is live-streams.

Webinars, workshops and LinkedIn lives all were a massive part of my launch strategy this time.

During Launch one, I interviewed every cohort member and asked them why they joined. 50/60% of them said they’d joined because of the live streams I was doing with my friends Jasmin and Luke at the end for launch.

  • “I was sold when you put your lipstick on, felt so authentic” said Kristen

  • “I liked how honest, and charismatic you seemed” said Joel

  • “I loved the energy, the insights and simplification live” said Alex

On top of that, for this launch, I surveyed them again and LIVES were my 3rd biggest driver of conversions behind posts and emails.

A Breakdown: Workshops, LinkedIn Lives and Webinars

Before I give you the details on how to win at each one you need to ask yourself one question:

“Am I good at writing or speaking?”

There are many ways to win a launch the key is always self-reflection and knowing your strengths.

I for one, can yap all day. I was the girl at school who would prefer to do a presentation instead of a written assignment.

Some people say email is a money making machine, but for me? it was lives.

Here’s why? Charisma, knowledge and quick reflexes.

To be a good entertainer live you need to be likeable and a great way to do that is to smile a lot, speak well and have good body language.

To then retain an audience, you need to be knowledgeable enough on what you’re speaking about whilst maintaining the entertaining frame.

This comes with different entionations, way you enounciate things and again, body language and being quick to respond to the “crowd” aka the comments.

Listen, most live streams are boring. They’re slow, quiet and monotone.

If you can be 5% better than the average, trust me you’ll win.

Luke and I don’t know anything but we sort of still kill it because we have fun.

Webinars and Workshops

Why they work in the least amount of words possible, ready? go:

  1. You hook people in with a good title “how to grow on LinkedIn""

  2. You then go live (which breaks a pattern as they read your content)

  3. They like you because you showed up and sound good

  4. You showcase your skills by teaching live, no cuts, no edits, no drafts

  5. You build trust.

  6. You over-deliver by explaining one or two key things they didn’t know

  7. You build more trust.

  8. You interact with the audience and ask questions

  9. You use those questions to start objection handling while teaching

  10. You teach some more, build more trust

  11. You pitch and use the objections as points to make in the pitch

  12. You send the link to buy and stay for Q/A

This works because when you are LIVE people trust you as they see a real person.

Everyone fears of being scammed, when you go live this risk is reduced.

LinkedIn Lives

Why this works in the least amount of words possible, ready? go:

  1. You have a core audience of people who love you

  2. People on social media crave connection

  3. You provide connection via live interaction

  4. You teach something live, showing true expertise

  5. Confirming people’s beliefs that you’re boss on the platform

  6. You plug the offer in and out as people trust you and know you so the pitch is easier and less “cold” because they expect it/want it

  7. You answer q/s from people so they feel “seen” which makes them love you more and more

  8. Plug the offer again and again too so they are aware throughout

One key thing with LinkedIn lives is that they can be more relaxed and there’s more space for inside jokes which drives fomo from those who aren’t in on it.

Building more brand. Builds fans. Builds your cult.

Might make you some money.

It’s a win win really.

Example:

Bonus tip: do it with friends and have them plug the product instead of you.

Each live drove a minimum of 6 new students for the cohort, but I didn’t plug it.

Makes it easy for you to focus on value and delivery and friends can vibe and support you.

Dakota threatened people if they didn’t buy and i guess it worked

Luke said everyone would be a loser if they didn’t sign up

I just kinda smiled and waved.

Good cop, bad cops okay!

So ladies and gentlemen there tha’ts literally it! Your complete guide to killing a launch (if you’re into video) and ways to make it easy.

You don’t need to pitch slap. You don’t need to be boring.

Just be yourself, teach some cool stuff, have an offer ready, and if you’re lucky, you’ll have friends like mine who will hang out too.

Shoutout to jassy pop (jasmin) for putting up with luke and I’s hysteria and addiction to live streams (we ended up doing like 4)
