The Creator Economy is making business owners rich.

300B by 2027?

I’ve noticed this “new” trend spreading across social media, and it benefits business owners and entrepreneurs the most.

See, content creation is one of the hottest topics of the century.

But it’s hard to take it seriously when, whenever you think of ‘content’ you think 5-second tiktok dances and random memes that waste your time.

And look, I get it. Even I get the ick sometimes when I get called a content creator.

But earlier this week I was speaking to one of my new friends who is a 2x exited founder, and you’ll never believe what he said to me while we had breakfast…

“I want to be a creator-founder, I feel like this is the new wave for us”.

Now, to some of you, this may not be surprising but to me, hearing incredibly successful business owners verbalize their excitement to become content creators doesn’t come often (especially if you live in London lol).

This is the new market opportunity most entrepreneurs are sleeping on.

Kajabi just released their 2025 State of Creator Commerce Report, breaking down the relevant trends they’ve observed in the creator economy last year and how to implement them in 2025. Talks revenue, best platforms for you and how to make money on and off social media.

I rarely read reports, let alone share them but this one was very well put together. If you like well put together data and actual relevant ‘insights’ I’d recommend it.

The best content strategy doesn’t start with hiring an agency or an over-priced content team that follows you around…

It starts with “The Founder Story” - a spin on the “Hero’s journey” for all the storytellers who read me (hi hi).

The reason is simple: building back the trust that’s been lost over the last decades of sales-first marketing approaches, pitch slaps, and irrelevant ads that no one likes.

And the best place to do this, is LinkedIn. Hands down.

The best founders are actively telling a story. One of my recent favorites?

Adam Robinson.

To me, he is the best most realistic example of storytelling without the ick.

He tells you the main story in this case how he bootstrapped his businesses and then immediately tells you how he’s done it.

No odd tangents. No fluffy narrative. Straight to the point.

And it makes him a TON of money while also making him a thought leader by creating content.

The Creator-Founder approach:

How can any founder or entrepreneur use this when you don’t have the crazy numbers Adam is pulling in revenue or the authority he already has?

Well, you do exactly what I’ve been doing this entire time.

Use these 3 key pillars:

  1. Storytelling content to connect with your audience and build a following.

  2. Authority content to build that trust with said following.

  3. Educational/technical content to actually sell your service/product.

Some examples for you here:

The way creator-founders are making money (beyond their business)

I have a 1:1 client who runs a $4M ARR agency - and they’re pivoting into the founder-led model.

Not because they’re not making money of course which is the typical assumption, but because of the insane opportunity in front of them.

Multiple streams of income to fuel the long-term vision of the business.

I’m talking multiple agency services + affiliates + webinars + courses + communities and coaching.

A full stacked business model. This is the new path.

And… according to Kajabi’s 2025 State of Creator Commerce Report, this is the way for anyone to make 6+ figures from their content.

In 2025, everyone is a creator. Even if you don’t consider yourself 1.

And it all started with founder-led content. Not just copy & paste content.

  • Build an audience.
Become hyper specific about a problem you solve.
Create content about it in different ways.
Tell stories around it, educate about it…

And then, sell multiple products and services around it.

I’ve seen it myself and now there are reports proving it.

PS: Reply to this email with the word freelance, creator or founder, owner and I’ll send you a ChatGPT prompt you can use to leverage this report to create a strategy for the stage you’re in!

That’s literally it ladies and gents.

Longie one today, I had some time in between not having time and running it up for our next big ‘announcement’…. hehe…
