I visited Jasmin Alic and nearly died (Luke was there too)

In May 2023, I booked a last-minute flight to Bosnia.

Packed a bag, did all client work in advance, and left uni deadlines… for later.

My new friend Luke was going over too, and thought, “fuck it, what’s the worst that could happen?"

So, we went for a burger… Jasmin started talking about copywriting.

And it wasn’t just talking to us; he was intricately explaining his love for it.

Writing, LinkedIn and kindness… it costs $0 after all.

Then, Luke started to go off on “grinding” and brain-washing himself in the morning to outwork everyone else on LinkedIn.

Commenting 4+ hrs a day, writing for 12+ clients himself and being…literally..everywhere. The month before he had been in London and Scotland…

And there I was thinking to myself… am I doing it all wrong.

Jasmin to me is so inspiring, so grand and wow!

And Luke to me is just that guy who kills it all day long.

But, I am not as passionate as Jasmin and my eyes don’t light up like that when it comes to writing.

And no I didn’t want to shout at everyone online like Luke either (not all the time) and wasn’t about to beat him commenting all day..

I was walking around Bosnia just trying to figure “it” out.

“What makes my eyes light up like that?”

Scratching my head, zoned out while Luke was talking about ice cream while we were heading to a church…

Thinking about realizing the first round of Literally LinkedIn

And then…. BANG.

I look down at the floor and there were to massive stones on the floor.

I look up and Luke’s face looks like he’s just seen a ghost.

I felt water pouring thinking it was raining.

It was my own blood coming out my head. The rock fell from 6 stories high and it hit me right in the head.

That hit to the head bonded Luke Me and Jasmin forever - but it taught me a big lesson.

They both had the thing. And I loved arguing with them about those things.

I don’t always agree, but have a space to “constructively criticise each other”

And I don’t wan’t to be the best at what they’re already doing.

I want to be the only at what I’m doing, while having them be excellent at their thing.

People at the top are collaborating, not competing and this is what I’ve done all my life.

I surrounded myself with A players, challenged them on their beliefs, learned from their best strengths and built me.

  1. Learned the A-Z of LinkedIn

  2. Understood Copywriting well from Jasmin

  3. Learned a lof of sales and growth hacking from Luke

  4. Built a multi stack of different skills along the way

And always, and I mean always networked like a maniac.

Built community and had accountability and consistent feedback.

Chased doing over learning.

  • I’m not the best at what I do; I’m the only one doing what I do.

  • I’ve never done email campaigns like these before, still doing it.

  • I never built 100+ brands in one go - but i built the Literally LinkedIn anyway.

  • I never scripted a YouTube video before but posted it anyway

I never got hit by a rock in Bosnia on a 3 day trip with two strangers… but it happened anyway.

And it all changed my life, and it continues to do so.

Today I’m building the biggest community and education platform in the world.

And for those times where I don’t feel passionate about writing…

Jasmin has a masterclass inside teaching you his secrets to writing (you can also see his eyes light up)

Oh and Luke has 2 AI Masterclassess in there too, and he hangs out in the community and calls a lot.

They usually charge $$$ but inside the community you get those for free.

And if you missed my email, I added 2 extra bonuses that expire today.

These include

🤖How to use ChatGPT to generate endless content ideas masterclass

📈 Getting Clients through content Workshop with Matt Barker

PS: If you don’t know who Luke and Jasmin are…

They’re the biggest creators on Linkedin. And luckily my best friends.

Harvey, Louis and Mike.

Not in that order… or maybe yes…
