We're about to hit $100k MRR (again), here's 1 hack we're using...

Part 1 of 3 money making hacks I wish I knew before launching.

I launched a paid community 6 months ago.

We crossed 6-figures by week 1.
But here’s what no one will tell you:

Selling low ticket is harder than selling high ticket.

The 1 trick I learned to get similar and consistent results?

Email automations.

Now, this seems obvious… but is it really?

“Yeah just A/B test this and that”
“Just write up a bunch of sequences”

Right… easy until you’ve realise that that is…

After working on the product for months.
After writing the landing page copy for weeks.
After working on filming and editing the content.
After creating written content for LinkedIn.
After writing 20+ emails for launch.
After dealing with platforms.

Trust me different email automations for pre and post purchase were the last things on my mind, and if you’re preparing to launch I’m sure this is the last thing in yours.

Because it’s one of those “we’ll do it after” tasks.

But the after comes and you’re still promoting.

But the after comes and you’re delivering on the product.

But the after comes and you’re tired and dealing with all the back-end video uploads, community management, stripe issues… etc.

Now to save you hours of YouTube videos, reading and emergency google searches to increase conversions for the product you worked so hard on.

Here are the 3 automation sequences we’re using to drive more sales that don’t require mass promotion on socials and require you to sell-out and ruin your personal brand.

It started with plugging Omnisend onto the tech stach.

If you’re in e-commerce this won’t be revolutionary.
But if like me, you are building an online business…

You’ll benefit from this, massively. But only if you implement it.

Our abandoned cart flow sequence:

When to send: people get to the payment page but don’t buy.

Headline of Email 1: Your Literally Academy Account
Template for you: Your [product] membership/account

Why it works? Sales isn’t A-B. At least not always.

There’s people who are hot leads, warm leads and cold.

So you need to remind people why they were even interested in your product.

Some may have checked it out during their work commute.
Some may have checked it out at the gym.
Some may have checked it out and forgot why they even cared.

Our job? Remind them of WHY THEY NEED YOU.

This is exactly why people like me and even Chase Diamond (email king) are backing Omnisend instead of other platforms right now.

It’s simple enough to use, so I get it.
It’s got templates to immediately get going (like abandoned cart)
It reminds you of the other types of sequences like welcome, churn, etc…
It’s got a drag-and-drop builder which makes life 10x easier

And my favorite that we’re about to try, segmentation based on behaviour.

I’ve preached about simplicity before. Stuck to Behiiv as my main email channel but as we try to scale this as a proper info business and even an e-learning platform - I needed to scale my tech stack too.

Not by much, just 1 new tool. Omnisend, who kindly met us in Dubai while I was speaking there a few months ago.

The next email of this sequence will show you the BTS of the email campaign we’ve run for the launch of Literally Academy and Content Code to gain attention and conversion.

Reply to this email with the word ME if you want it out next week!

If you’re interested, check out Omnisend and start your journey building a business that actually makes you money without adding 10+ hours to your weekly project management.

PS: Been nerding out on email sequences this week as we’re about to re-launch my 8-week programmes, what other email sequences have you guys loved? Reply to this email i’d love to chat!
