- you need to become a paradox if you want to win
you need to become a paradox if you want to win
Last month I went on my best friend Darren’s podcast.
I contradicted myself for the entire 2 hours.
And this is exactly why I’ve outlasted many in the industry.
Because winning isn’t about being attached to being right.
Winning is about becoming obsessed with getting better.
What works for a beginner doesn’t work for an intermediate.
What gets you to 10,000 followers won’t get you to 100,000.
What makes you your first $1 won’t make you your next $10,000.
And it’s a lesson every single entrepreneur reading this needs to know.
The world of online business has become filled with cookie cutter advice.
Leading people who follow into a journey of disbelief. Because what works for 1 person may not always work for the next.
Hence why I failed at dropshipping or even building my first marketing agency.
Because I was focused on the what, not the why.
Focused on the how and not the who.
Question everything, even your own thoughts.
You need to become a walking paradox. Question everything and challenge it.
Evolve with the process.
Replace old thoughts and systems.
Revisit old tactics and make them 10% better.
The best entrepreneurs are walking paradoxes.
They don’t attach themselves to their work.
They let it go and adapt faster than most.
So if you’re contradicting yourself lately…
That might just mean you’re finally getting somewhere.
Listen to people ahead of you.
Implement some of their process.
Find the gaps in their knowledge.
Fill it with your own understanding.
Build the perfect system for you.
Master the art of thinking logically.
Understand nuance.
Win.
That’s it for today my friend. A last quote to make you think (I saw on Substack earlier this week)…

A book that made me think deeply about stuff this topic (The Inner Game)
